1. Who this applies to

This policy covers Yolu Stay ("we", "us"), operating at https://yolustay.com, and describes what information we collect from visitors and guests, why we collect it, and how it is handled. It applies to the website itself and to conversations started through the WhatsApp and phone links on this site.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us or book with us, we collect:

• Contact and booking details you send us directly — name, phone number, check-in/check-out dates, and any preferences you share over WhatsApp, phone or email.
• Identity verification at check-in — a CNIC or passport, which we are legally required to register through Hotel Eye, the Punjab Police guest-registration system, under the Punjab Information of Temporary Residents Act 2015.
• Site usage data — pages viewed, general location (city-level), device type and how you arrived at the site, collected automatically through Google Analytics.
• Advertising data — if you arrive from a Google ad, Google records which ad and keyword led to your visit and whether you went on to message us, so we can measure which ads are working.

3. How we use it

• To respond to booking enquiries and confirm reservations.
• To meet the legal guest-registration requirement at check-in.
• To understand which pages and ads are useful to visitors, so we can improve the site.
• To contact you about an existing or upcoming booking.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use your ID documents for anything beyond the legally required guest registration.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

• Google Analytics — site usage measurement.
• Google Ads — ad performance measurement.
• WhatsApp Business — booking conversations, governed by WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy policy.
• Hotel Eye (Punjab Police) — legally mandated guest registration.

5. Cookies

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure traffic and ad performance. These do not identify you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though we won't be able to measure your visit.

6. Data retention

Booking and guest-registration records are kept as long as required by Hotel Eye and applicable law. Contact details from enquiries that don't turn into a booking are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.

7. Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete enquiry data that isn't tied to a legal record-keeping requirement, by emailing hello@yolu.pk.
